Hello Sagar,
just to go step by step:
1)did you now manage to compile siesta1.3f1p without smeagol? And does
that run in parallel? Gnerally I suggest to get siesta to run first, and
only then apply the smeagol patch.
2)The example is very small and can therefore be run only on few nodes.
I suggest to try running a larger example if you want to run on more nodes.
Regarding the arch.make it generally seems OK to me, although you
specify many options that I usually don't use, so I am not sure on how
they affect the result. You can also try some of the basic arch.make
files submitted to the smeagol mailing list.
