Hello Asa,

  the error message you write below is output in the siesta routines for
the diagonalization, so it is outside of the transport part. Sometimes
one gets this error message when there is a problem in the system setup.
For which of the examples to you get the error? I would try the default
all the siesta examples, and see if it runs for some of them.

Generally your arch.make seems fine to me, only I do not know exactly
what the setting of the KINDS variable sets.
