[Smeagol-discuss] How is the bias applied

Dear Smeagol developers,

I would like to know how is bias voltage applied on the lead. When $V_b$ is
applied, does the chemical potential of left and right lead become
$\mu$+$V_b$/2 and $\mu$-$V_b$/2? or one becomes $\mu$+$V_b$ and the other
$\mu$
