[Kelvin-users] Clusters unavailable, cooling failure in TCHPC Data Centre

Dear all,

The TCHPC server room suffered a cooling failure overnight that 
necessitated the automatic shutting down of the compute nodes. This 
means that any jobs that where being run when this happened have been 
lost and need to be re-submitted. We apologise for the inconvenience 
this necessary action will have caused you but it was required to reduce 
the temperature in the room to prevent damage to the equipment.

The clusters are still offline. We are liaising with the Buildings 
Office to determine when they can be brought back online and will advise 
accordingly.
